So what are the rules?

From ingame chat and forum posts I have concluded that the rules for online Samming are as follows:

1. You can not use more then 5 rockets per game or you become a rocket whore.
2. You can only use grenades if it is your only weapon and you are aiming at someone. No chucking them randomly.
3. You can not kill someone right after they spawn even if they are coming at you with a knife or you are considered a spawn killer.
4. If you are a player that is worth a crap, you had better not pick up the Serious Damage.
5. No Serious Damage is to be picked up unless there are more then 4 people on a map.
6. Don't have less then 5 deaths per game or you are a cheater.
7. You can not shoot rockets at a corner or an intersection even if you know someone is coming because you can hear them or see their shadow, or you will be considered a spammer.

hah its so true though, i choose to ignore all those rules though, if im gonna play the game ill pick up what i want and use what i want.

the only way i play is that anything is fair game (yes, i can be a rocket hoe at times), but i prefer to not use p-ups, as long as ppl respect my desicion, i couldnt care less how other's play (take all the p-ups you want, i seldomly actually verbally complain in servers... provided of course there isnt anyone snooping aorund in an alias just tso they can quote something i said that was ment to be in a private conversation, and make me look like a bad guy by blowing somehting way out of proportion... ;))

I think people should set their own rules that they want to follow and not listen to what other say
is approved, its after all just a game, if i want to take the SD, i should be able to do that without getting hassled about it, if i want to shot rockets or blow u away with a canonball, i should be allowed to that 2.

Its all in the game and its meant to be there to, there is a difference if u cheat, swim , kneedance etc, thats cheating, but things that are meant to be in the game are there for a reason, so try play the game and have fun, thats basically whats its all about, IMHO.

Are there rocket launchers and grenades in the game? :hmmm: I've never come across them - perhaps I haven't explored the maps in their entirety.

When you encounter two players facing off and it's clear that those players haven't seen you, proper etiquette states that you should wait until their battle is over, instead of fragging both players. (Even though chances are that battle will end in a double suicide.)
