These cars are so different and cool. I want one.

The only major drawback is that they base out at 16 g's. That sucks monkey balls.

The streets of the UK are filled with them.
even some of the subways (carrying on Sal's theme)

There is also a 320bhp on it's way that will
be so quick you're nose will bleed

lol

the problem here is the cost of insurance (for mine i spend around 1000 euro per year and i have only a 1400 90HP)
and the taxes :bandhead:

the new generation Mini's are under production of BMW (after the Rover debacle, BMW kept the Land Rover and Mini brands).

That means they are quality cars but the price and the options are also 'tailored' to BMW standards

to Boston: btw I have seen cool bumper stickers for the 'real mini': Guaranteed no BMW parts :shifty:

Here in Europe the Mini is available in these versions

Mini One: 1.6 benzine engine

Mini One D : 1.4 diesel engine from the Toyota Yaris :bawling: (and you can forget about the price dropping...)

Mini Cooper : 1.6 benzine engine 115HP

Mini Cooper S: (as in the first pic) 1.6 benzine engine (supercharged I believe) 163HP

Last time I checked (some time ago) only the Cooper and Cooper S were available on the American Market...I guess taxes and petrol costs allow you guys to choose more potent engines (*jealous*)

I just want yo give you a hint how expensive cars are in Denmark........

In Denmark you'll have to pay €36500 for the 1.6 Cooper (manual transmission - €5000 extra for aut.trans.)

They have sep, just not many. The typical NE mark up keeps them a little more exclusive.
