Bob Hope, the ski jump-nosed master of the one-liner and favorite comedian of servicemen and presidents alike, has died, less than two months after turning 100.

Hope died late Sunday of pneumonia at his home in Toluca Lake, with his family at his bedside, longtime publicist Ward Grant said Monday.

That's too bad. I saw a documentary on his entertaining military audiences overseas, the man was incredible. What hid did for our troops was the most unselfish thing he could do. Seeing the looks and the laughs from the wounded soilders as he came through is something I'll never forget.

Peace be with you Bob.http://i.cnn.net/cnn/2003/SHOWBIZ/TV/07/28/obit.hope/story.bob.hope.obit.jpg

Yeah, He was the backbone of the USO shows. I was active duty Marine Corps for 12 years and I had the pleasure of seeing just one of his shows and I gotta tell ya, he could gather a lot of other celebraties for a show. He will be missed.
