Ya man that was a good game! Man I checked my ping and I got 280 for a ping which was like awesome for me. I normally get like 350-400. So with that ping of 280, I can only imagine how high speed will treat me. ;) Good game to everyone!

Yeah Slash I looked in to Starband and DirectPC. Satellite is not good for gaming because of the latency between the send and recieve of the signal. Mainly because it has to travel 36,000 miles to the sattellite and then 36,000 back. So even though the bandwidth is around 400kbs, the delay in packets would be laggy as hell. I already spoke to the tecs at direct pc, they told me that it wouldn't be any better, or maybe worse then dial up. :(

Damn, that was a fast responce. LOL Well unfortunately it does not look good, because the phone company would have to install a D-Slam Box in a not so populated area. The cost to them would be around $10,000. So if only like 6 people signed up for high speed at $50 a month they wouldn't even see their investment money back for 3 years. Aparently my pair of copper exceed the distance to the CO (central office), so the D-Slam actually is like a mini CO in a big metal box, which can feed multiple highspeed connections. So basically, I am screwed. :P I also called our cable company, and they told me that they wouldn't even have the wiring in place until 2004, heh I felt like saying to them why bother, in 2004 wireless will have taken over. Damn idiots.
