This is a post by MarX that he posted in our private section, and with his permision I copied it here.
A few of us in {DS} thought all GM would enjoy his experience, we couldn't be more proud of him!

We all knew MarX has crazy skills, but this is great! :jammin:

Ok so some of you know i'm at the CPL (Cyber athletes proffesional league) in Dallas Tx. Its where the bigass UT and CS tourney take place, for lots of cash. Last yeah Fatal1ty dominated the UT tourney here. The CS tourney has a $200k purse, and the UT is something like $30k i think. I didn't get here in time to register for BYOC (bring you own computer) so i'm just a specator, checking everything out, and playing when I can. Not long after we got here the Intell booth anounced they were having a 32 person UT2k3 tourney on their computers, the winner would get a brand new Alienware computer, and 2nd place gets a new Intell P4 3.2ghz i think. Anyway long story short I TOOK 1St PLACE and won a badass Alienware computer!! w00w00. Intell will have my pics up on thier site soon. I still can't believe I won it hehe. So 1st day wrapup - I'm here makin' {DS} look good, rack up one Alienware computer for CPL loot, and 3 more days left. I'll have updates on each day, and when I get home I'll post a ****load of pics of this place. Its crazy theres people from all over the world, Korea and China and Europe its crazy. I'll be sure to take many a pic if Fatal1ty decides to pop in and pwn everyone. Later

Its getting alot harder to get an open laptop, more and more people are showing up today. Last night, right after I finished my post and was getting some more Bawls before I went to sleep (Bawls + sleep = ??) I ran into Jonathan Wyndell, he was on his way in to set up and stuff. I'm waiting around to see him play,
but hes not here atm, maybe asleep somewhere. Theres enough Bawls here to stay awake for like 4 days straight. I talked to the Intell people and got in on the
Lab/Workshop after thier seminar, were going to have hands on stuff on how to tweak and mob your system for better performance, so anything I learn there I'll be sure to post. After they show us the 1337 stuff we break into teams of 4, and whtever team can get their system running the fastest wins the whole
team a new proccessor. The Lab is at like 7 or 8pm, I'm going to the normal Intell seminar from 6-7 and the Nvidea seminar 5-6. So i'll be learning alot of 1337 stuff today...hopefully. Intell is having another UT tourney, but they won't let me enter it because I won the last one lol, prize is a motherboard and a processor, not as 1337 as my comp hehe. Anyway its only 4pm and there is alot to go today, I just thought i'd post while I had a laptop...more to come as the day unfolds.

Actually i've been watching team 3d for most of the day hehe. I think they just lost thier 1st match..but it was at the end of the day
