I got this guys address, and i sent him some cash , and it seems i am being ripped off.
I bough an item outside of ebay, and this guy is not responding to my emails, He has told me the item was shipped and is supposed to confirm the tracking number, but just ignores my emails. And now suddenly his Ebay Id is no longer active..

name: Valcoci Radu Valentin
address: Via Bobio nr.16
city: Genova
country: Italy
zipcode: 16100

Thats the name i was given and it was picked up at western union by him..

Well you can report him to FBI........Fraud accross state or country lines is a FELONY!

Might be an option.

sorry op, but I think you were ripped.
The way the scam works is that someone auctions some stuff, and after the auction ends
(or even before) they contact other bidders to see if they want to buy similar stuff
at the previous price. after that it is take the money and run.
since it was outside of ebay, many do nothing. you can try
contacting them to blacklist the acct, but obviously there is not
going to be any insurance or anything.

I already filled a claim with the FBI internet fraud unit, and i am currently trying to contact the idiot. I have never had any probs with anyone online until now. I lost a couple hundred, atleast it was extra money and not something i really needed.. It sucks but i guess i learned my lesson. Hey who know the item could be on the way to me.. he just hasnt responded to my emails.

I sent the money via western union, so in order for the person to pick up the money it would have to be the correct address given and name.. Ill fly there if i have too!

And kick some @ss...

Anyone who lives in italy please contact me..

Thanks

OP
