Ahh something is terribly wrong with my PC!!
Let's see it all began with my computer being incredibly slow at certain points. For instance when i tried to open My Computer it would take forever to open and then freeze! IE took a while to open up too!

So after multiple experiments i decided to finally do a ful system restore and make my PC the way it ws when i first got it! (goodbye pr0n) :P So my restoration went well (or so i thought). Then when i restarted my PC i get this !!

lsass.exe-System Error
------------------------------
When trying to update a password
this return status indicates that the
value provided as the current password
is not correct.

I don't quite understand what password its refering too, but this wont let my PC do anything, and it happpens whenever WinXP starts up. Then the computer reboots again after i get the message, and it keeps on doing this!

This means no Sam! :bandhead:

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanx

I don't know what you mean by full system restore.
In some cases that may be just a windows reinstall with existing files intact,
in other cases it may include a fdisk & format (where disk is wiped).
looking up the error on google, it seems to be a folder permissions error,
you can take a look at these links, maybe something will help

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...Ben-us%3B258007 (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B258007)
http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/winxp/t1047612951

otherwise you can do another reinstall, but only if you get an option to reformat the drive...

good luck

I didn't know myself (I'm still using Win98 :oooo: ), So I did a search at Google using lsass.exe-System Error LINK (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=lsass.exe-System+Error&btnG=Google+Search)

Hope you get it fixed
