I hate saying WOOT, but it's appropriate here. We closed on our refinance loan at lunch today. It took my 30 year loan to a 20 and saves me $100.00 monthly!!! :wootrock:

We shifted to a 15 year, it costs some $150 more, but will save us $80K.

Yes there was quite a bit of signing involved- seemed like more than when we closed the original loan. The grand savings is almost $200,000.

We had a rate of 7.125 and refinanced at 4.75.

How did you get that rate??? I refinanced a little while back and got a 5.75 (we had a 6.75). :bawling:
