I was just randomly informed by my virus scan that i have a virus. i have scanned for it again but nothing has been found. I didnt even download anything off peer to peer or unofficial sites.

it said clean/quaratine fail, but when i scan in the folder it said it found the file, it says no viruses..

What scanner do you have? Is it updated?

PC-Cillin 2002 and yeah its updated. im doing a full scan right now .

Do you use a ad-aware type program?

Some anti-virus programs will recognize them (anti-spyware) as a virus.

spy bot is free and pretty good. Read in a magazine it was currently the best one, but wouldn't hurt to have both spy bot and ad aware. ;)
