Yes. They call it LD (short for Link Dead). It happens when the client stops receiving messages from the server. I'm not sure what causes it, but people on broadband don't seem to have too many problems with it (maybe once a week or so). The servers do go down for maintenance ALOT. They load patches to fix problems and to add more content. But those times are normally in the morning. You can always check that out at www.camelotherald.com (http://www.camelotherald.com).
