Finding myself back at ye olde Seriously Forums a wee while back (thanks to a pseudo nostalgic post elsewhere from the SLiKster - cheers bud), i stumbled across many a fond remembrance... namely my first ever "contribution." It brought a tear, it did. [smiles at sopping hanky] Realising it's been about a year to the day since that first, mildly subdued, oddly troubled post, i thought to myself:

"Hey, i see it's been about a year since my first post!"

"..and seeing as it's kinda close to MECCA's own forthcoming anniversary.. well, I really should DO something about that. You know, give something BACK!"

(But what?? The usual ran through my mind... hop online and post lewd smilies for the entire day?... record myself making amusing toilet noises?... work to further engender clan rivalry?... crack onto the local postie before hastily explaining why "i'm just not ready to commit"?... Or perhaps even throw out that old bar fridge that's been sitting in my kitchen for a year and a bloody half?!? What was the point of this again?)

Laugh... in my line of work, i get lookalike comments all the time. Billy Zane (too flattering) and Ben Stiller (more like it) pop up all the time, though not so much now that my hair is reaching down my back. [tosses hair and laughs triumphantly]
