Yes. This movie was fantastic. Fan-friggen-tastic.

I had avoided and dodged all spoilers thrown at me, quickly skimmed over reviews to avoid scene descriptions and dastardly deep details that would take away from my viewing pleasure. It made the movie enticing, with the clashes between these two horror icons, and their bloody (And I mean BLOODY) killings. Both got their fair share of kicking the others ass, and I don't think I have ever had as much fun while watching a movie before.

Now.....for others who are not obssessed fan-boys who will probably end up in their parents basement, chances are you will not enjoy the movie as much as I did. The acting was "ehhhh...". The soundtrack was "ehhhh...". The character devolpment was "ehhh...". If you want to see a horror movie with the above, then I suggest you rent the original masterpiece "A Nightmare on Elm Street". THEN, go see Freddy Vs. Jason. Or better yet, watch the orginal "Friday the 13th" after you watch NOES, and thhhheennn go see Freddy vs. Jason.

Was I scared? I'll admit I jumped a few times. But I never got that feeling of being creeped out afterwards, as I did with others. But I had fun, and I think the audience I was with did too.

So, I would not recommend it for people who are looking for a quality horror flick, because this just wasn't. And there have been some pretty nasty reviews, but I must say they should be ignored.
But if you are looking for a fun, sometimes campy, horror flick go see this movie now. You will enjoy it.

And that is the end of my rant. :wootrock:

EDIT: Oh, and lest I forget, there is ONE clean-cut winner between the two. Well...sorta clean-cut. Go see it for yourself.

I heard they taped like 8 different endings.

maybe you will have to wait for the dvd, or maybe they
will release an alternate ending at the end like they did for 28 days,
a month after the original release...

Yawn. Not gonna waste any money on it. It's funny I started a thread on this flick a while back. I didn't think people were so serious about this flick.....
