Here's my deal...

I ordered a GeForce 5600 Ultra card and installed it yesterday because my current card is so old the name of it is in heirogliohics. Unfortunately it wouldn't work with DAOC or Freelancer or any other game that requires the acclerated 3D graphics....DirtGod found out that although that card is supposed to be good for those games it doesn't work well at all. I of course am an eyewitness to this. So I have to return it and I ordered a Radeon 9500 128-MB card and should have it in a couple of days.

Meanwhile, my characters are stuck again, I can't access them.....

Big difference in price from a 5600 to a 5900, about $175 bucks on pricewatch...can't afford a 5900.

I&#39;d be surprised if the 5600 wouldn&#39;t run the game. It may require downloading the latest drivers and possibly upgrading directx.

What ever the case, I&#39;m sure you&#39;ll be happy with the 9500.

Nah the card got issues we went throught all the usual trouble shooting nothing worked got online and found out that problem is had by many people.....anyway it done he ordered something new if it dosent work this time i thinking operater error....... :oooo:

Check the graphics driver file log. See if there is an "id 10t" error in there. :shifty:
