i've got it downloaded and installed already and it's quite different than what we're used to as far as p2p goes. I mean it looks different, the verbage is different but other than that it's basically the same I guess ...hahaha if any of that made sense... they just tried to make it sound real "spacey" is all

I think right now the only downfall is that it's not too widespread and it might be a little harder to find sources for the files you're looking for

One really cool feature it's got is better search filters and it also has a browse feature. you just leave the search line blank and hit the "explore" button and you get a bunch of random stuff...

it's definitely worth checking out IMO

Ras Kabir's warning to the RIAA and the MPAA,  "The next revolution in P2P
file sharing is upon you.  Resistance is futile and we are now in control".

Riiiiiiiiight. :P

I tried it not many files available and those velocity download speeds are bull. I tried to download a file and it said the velocity was like 890KBPS I was getting like 1.5kbps.

i have heard multiple people complaining about download speeds today,
i think it is the worm....

could be a combination of the worm but I bet it's more due to the lack of users going with es5... I don't think it's been out long enough or been spread enough to get enough sources to achieve decent download speeds... give it time

its definatly has to do with worm remember us in northamerica got hit before other regions in the world.
some countries are just getting hit now nearly a week and a half after it was released ..then remember all the differant strains that have been released . at my store a guy from symantic from california came up to see all the strains that were found in calgary (most high speed users per capita in the world) our city of less than a million got hit hard . lottsa major corps got nailed. hehe ..as far as net conjestion the net has considerabley
slowed down since its release (worse than spam)
the good old days of
www.heat.net .... my ping from calgary to there california server was 110
