The best way to level up . . . . . . .

The fastest way to level up in this game is to get a group of 5-6 of near the same level or to do kill tasks from guards. We have quite a few players in the 10-15 range. You guys should try to all get together and give it a try. :thumbs:

Machine is right. The game is setup so that if the highest level is too much higher than the others, than experience is "lost".

For example, if you killed a yellow by yours self lets just say you get 100k exp for it. Now if you were grouping with say 3 other people (total or 4 people), that 100k is split 4 ways evenly and everyone gets 25k. However, if there are people that are lower level, your experience may look more like 5k or even less.

The reason Mythic set it up this way was to encourage people in the same level range to play together instead of letting one high level person do all the work. While powerleveling works and people use it all the time, none of us really have characters that can power level effectively (names, a lvl 50 necro).

Besides that fact, it just makes more sense to learn how to play your character now before you get into RvR situations where reactions have to be like lightning.

Actually, the group and camp bonuses have more to do with the grouping nature of the mobs. But chances are that you aren't going to be taking down whole groups of mobs on your own. So we'll give Machine partial credit on that one. :thumbs: :cool:
