Lil Biker Chick downloaded

Lil Biker Chick was playing with my computer this morning and before I could catch her she agreed to something called surferbar.com. :bandhead: :bandhead: :bandhead: Now my homepage is some POS and I can't get rid of this Surferbar crap.

How can I get IE to go back to normal and get rid of this POS?

I ran ad aware and norton and found nothing.

look for spybot search and destroy....

and in tools, internet options, security, internet selected, hit custom level
disable activex downloads,
should keep it from happening again

also go into tools on menu bar of ie and click on advanced tab and click restore default

you may want to disable script debugger and disable 3rd party crapola.

goto add remove programs and see if something installed.


do you have nortons utilities 2003?

i think you can get rid of the bar by going view>toolbars> then uncheck the thing that you dont want.

and the easiest way i know to change your home page is to go to what ever site you want it set as then drag the icon in the address bar to the little house dealy :sorcerer:
