Well whoever wins it this year, I'm just glad it won't be the Yankees/Diamondbacks/Braves, because I hate all of them.

All Yankee fans are the same. They have the most money, so they can buy the best players. Only that is inherently unfair to every other franchise in baseball because they cannot compete with that. If they had to play with the same total salary as everyone else they wouldn't have won nearly as many Series....

I do know what I am talking about my friend.
If a team can afford the good players and the fan support is there then why noe.
Unfair to the other teams why?
Simply because they can't afford it?
For example look at the Fla Marlins.
In 97 they won it all.
Why because mr. Wayne huizenga(sp) spent the money on the team thinking it would bring fan support. His idea failed.
My point is that if the fans go to the games then The team can spend more on better players.

I have an answer for that. The Cards have drawn 3 million fans for seven consecutive seasons. Seven straight, from a metropolitan area of about 2.4 million people. It has nothing to do with gate receipts. The Yankees own their own cable network and make a TON of money from advertizing. That's how they do it, because they play in the biggest market on Earth....

and lest I forget... Money and greed is what is truly ruining baseball. That and steroids. When players weren't bought and staduims weren't named after giant corporations and the players themselves didn't get paid 1.3 million doolars each time they went to bat, that's when baseball was whole. The same can be said about football and basketball.

Sure there is. Football, on the other hand, is five seconds of fun followed by 45 seconds of nothing. And going to a game.....forget about it. TV timeouts take so long it's ridiculous...

Baseball is full of action, strategy, possible moves, etc. Hockey is action all the time. Football is boredom occasionally interrupted.
