I'l try as best i can!
This has been happening for over a month now!
MSN says it can't verify my .NET passport with the messenger, or something to that extent.
When i try to verify my @verizon.net e-mail adress with NET passport so that i can use mesenger it says please try again!
Well i've tried agin like 40+ times still no sucess!
I have no viruses, no spyware (at least i don't think)!
Thats all i can tell you!

Solution: Sign up for a free hotmail account and use that for your M$ .NET "Passport" (actually, microsofts passport to all your info).

i don't believe you need the stupid .net certificate crap.
that is only a means of tracking your ass and the stuff you do
go download trillian and use it instead.
it only requires the email address & msn password and works just as well,
with no ad crap.

How about no JIM!
I don't use MSN as my ISP!
Verizon gives me quality DSL!
I use the messenger to talk to my friends!
Is there another way?

Like Jiminator said. I use trillian and have never had a problem. Also your friends that do not have MSN you can still keep in touch with because it offers AIM, YM,ICQ, IRC and MSN

you goof. remember this.... www.google.com. type in trillian.
the second thing you see will be a download now link.
it actually works for most anything that you can imagine.
and yes, it will work with msn as long as you have the
password & email address for the account, unless you
have done something goofy with it, like requiring a
certificate to connect....
