someones using my name as i tried to join a game but it said i was already in there. this has happened to me 3 times in a week. i hope they are atleast good. no really if anyone notices something fishy please get info to me. do i have to change my name now>? ada mentioned this to me once but did not pay attention to it. maybe someone does not like me---naaaaahhh that can't be it i am a big huggable lovable guy. anyway what needs to be done here if this happened to someone else?

2 things:

Get All Seeing Eye so that you can confirm it.

If it is on one of the Jerclan severs, write down which server, the time, and map and contact Slash.

If you get All Seeing Eye (ASE) then you will be able to see who is playing. You could also try to join under a different name or as an observer to see if the server is just screwy or if someone is actually using your name. If someone is then I'd have trouble believing that it is just a coincidence. BIGGD01 is pretty unique. :wink:

One more thing, sometimes if you join then cancel, the server registers you as being there. Then if you try to rejoin, your name is still there even though you are not. Does it happen when you try to join for the first time that day? If so, then someone is using your name. But with the tag they would have to get all the colors and configurations right as well. I know that it is not that hard to steel the tag code, but it seems unlikely.

Gamemecca.net has a direct download link on the main page. Look under tools, on the left hand side in the menu. ;) So just click the logo on top and that will get you there!

Is that ASE hard to use?? I don't want to pay for it either! Just thought I would ask for some tips :)

It is very easy to use. It searches for all the games on your system that it supports and sets itself up automatically. Its sweet. :wink:
