Aim bot for UT?

i was playing this guy either he was playing with a aim bot or he was just amazing :blink:

this was instagib and he would do it with 10 to 15 ppl in game and a lot of clan players in it to :blink:

is there a aim bot for UT?

wow, i have seen people do like 800 fph, which i thought was amazing, but damn, that is tremendously high...

comes up to 23 frags/minute, 2.65 seconds to find each target & kill it.... :blink:

There are all sorts of cheats including aimbots out there for the game. :bandhead: Easiest thing is to play on servers like DWF :thumbs: which has many checks running to hopefully eliminate these players.

Yes, there is a aimbot for UT! [ELF] tags :hmmm: I remember reading a thread at the main UT 2003 site on aimbots and that tag.

Bot's are not common, but they are out there, I've only cought 1 but suspected a few in ladder play.To avoid them, play in servers with cheat protection.

Forrest Funk knows a little more about them, but they do exist, mostly used for intagib.

The rare times I play it's either on your server or the F8 instagib server.

No names in particular, if my sons have been playing I just use whatever name they have left on

I think it would be painful to admit I was so lame that I had to cheat to run with the pack. I could see using it as a training tool, perhaps, but I'd rather play on a level pield, and if a guy or gal is good enough to beat me, I tip my hat, and keep coming back to play those people like a moth to flame, just hoping to learn what they are doing to beat me. That's the essence of competing, to me, and I've always improved best - in whatever the game or sport is - by competing with those who can beat you.

i think really that some people get their rocks off on pissing off other people.
you see that a lot in the internet, because it is easy to be anonymous.
in some areas we call them trolls. if you are doing instagib at 1 kill / 3 seconds,
that isn't anything about winning, just about ruining it for the other people.
it is a similar thing with the swimming cannon camper that likes to piss people off.

lol pure you beat me to it! i was gonna say, most of the players that have been around for a while know that anyone sporting the [ELF] tags are ALWAYS using bots/hacks. it is sad but that is the basis of their entier clan...it goes back to the UT99 days...aimbots have always been around, you just need to find a good server with respectable players and stick to those few. trust me, you will know if you see an aimbot just by their movements.

How could they possibly sustain interest in the game? I mean, at some time, wouldn't you want to know how you fare 'for real'?

Reading your replies I have (very) bad news. I got interested in ELFbots when Arsenik mensioned it on DwF, he said it was VERY EASY to find one... he was right. I found one on the web in like 5 mins, installed it, and NO MOVEMENT INFECTIONS, it was more then just an aimbot, I could go invisible, put a radar on, use wallhack and enter a VERY big amount of servers, I only played 'bout 1 hour with it, but I didn't notice any movement infections..... :hmmm:

I hope you backed up your ini files because when you uninstall the bots (in UT99 anyway) sometimes your ini files were left corrupted.

you went looking for one??? I hope you like viruses on your computer :rofl: The hard part from what I hear is not finding cheats...its getting the viruses off your computer and getting your game back to normal thats the hard part.

Actually [ELF] is a clan ( we knew that already ) but the "cool" thing about it is that they made this elf-aimbot themselves. And if u ever played one of them on a public server it was because some of the clan use the aimbot for testing purpose. As far as i heard they use proxy-servers to fake the MD5 checksum. Pretty clever :cool:

Btw i dont think any nonelf clanmember will be able to get this aimbot. But u can d/l the elfbot for UT 99 :rolleyes:
