Damn they suck!

LOL! Just kidding. Ya know Slash's servers seem to be the ONLY servers running SS DM anymore. At least during the times that I play. If it weren't for these two servers, SS would be done...over...finished...kaput.

Yes, thank you very much, I use your servers allot.
On the subject of servers (if you don't mind), I happened to be using an extra room at work, to get away and work on a schedule, and what did I find in the rooom? Two brand new servers. Our TS person was working on them, of course I had to look inside of them.....WOW! One had about 3 gigs of memory, 2 strips at a gig a piece and 3 at 256mb. It had 5 harddrives (the TS person had to tell me that, I couldn't tell)! Oh yeah, it had two CPU's, I forgot to ask what size they were.
The assistant GM came in, and we got talking, he said the servers cost 30 grand each, that sounds like too much, but hey, they're from IBM.
Anyway....I thought they were pretty cool, I had to keep wiping the drool off of my chin. :lol:
I asked the Tech if anyone would notice if I took one of the 1gig strips....
her response, Uhhhhhhhhhhh yes. Just had to ask :roll: :lol: .

I remember the day UT2003 came out their were servers up the ying yang in SSE,but now I only see JERCLAN and n00bs playing :(

The only problem is the mans head is so rock solid not even lead from my minigun cam pierce it to tell him to change it from serious mode.
