my friend bought that game, this game have the best graphics (in fighters) and moves i ever saw.
there is alot of fighting styles (tae kwan do, aikido, drunk style, snake...) i think all known styles. you can switch between standart, alternate and sword styles, gameplay is cool.

little story:

as we know in MK4 shinok was defeated, but quan-chi escaped. Now quan-chi and shang tsung allied and killed empreror (imperator), then they both killed Liu Kang (tournament winner) now they have millions warriors of skelet army and every of them needs a soul. They built special machine (as a machine for souls :wacko: )

History:

1992

Programmers created a quick project of fighting and called it MK. Game had realy big popularity and was only on arcades

1993

in this year came out MK second part - Mortal Combat II
millions of people bought that game and wondered programmers and designers work and ideas

1997-1998

MK3 released on arcades and Sega consoles (i think) or on more consoles

2000

MK4 released with 3D graphics and models. that was first 3D fighting game. The game was shown on TVs Radio sets and magazines. That was a sensation...

2002

Mortal Combat: Deadly Alliance came out... now noone plays fighting games so much, so the game didnt got so big popularity (btw only 4 men created this game). Hmm i&#39;ll say this game have the best graphics, effects and cool new characters ever i saw in other fightings. New Version of game - new fatalities...Hmm you know what? i like fatalities in MK4 more than in DA, cuz they are realy simple and some of them are just copies, but

i am a little Fighting Games Fan, i am playing them alot. So i posted this thread just for have fun. Hope to see some fighting game players here, too :D

Movie is due out soon, and yes the movies owned, as of the game, Deadly alliance is ok, but i like MK3 more than anything, thats just me though

I agree, MK kicks ass. SF and Tekken always felt soooo slow, admittedly the first was pretty shallow, 2 was the best probably, then it all went a bit wrong...but Deadly Alliance Kicks ass....characters are HARD to unlock (I have all but Drahmin, then I gave up).


Sooooooooooooo funny fighting hand to hand then pulling out daggers and stabbing them in the kneecaps, as they run around bleeding to death -- sure you lose your weapons but LOL.

yea Tekken is too slow. MK5 have a new feature how to get new characters - THE CRIPT

its hard to guess what cript to buy, but its realy fun :jammin:

MK is indeed a good game. Smoke totally rules, but hes like only in one MK or something.
