Anyone have this game? This is an extremely addicting game and the PS2 multiplayer features have me wanting to find some prey on the golf course. The game face feature of the game is scary, it lets you fully customize a face right down to bone density. In about 20 mins, I created a very spooky likeness of myself. Hope that feature makes it into all future EA games.

From IGN:
Multiplayer & Online
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 is especially addicting when it comes to multiplayer. In fact, we would argue it's one of its biggest strengths. It's inherent to the gameplay, which is more enjoyable when you're facing opponents that aren't artificial. The replay value is through the roof here with a litter of simulation and arcade modes, including Stroke Play, Best Ball for brilliant team matches, Stableford, Long Drive Shootout, and Battle Golf. The latter is a riot, as the winner of each hole gets to yank a club from his or her opponent's bag (barring the putter). It goes without saying, really, that if you enjoy golf this is one of the best multiplayer titles you can buy.
When you factor in that the PlayStation 2 features a wealth of online play, the deal gets even sweeter. There are tournaments six days a week, online rankings, you can challenge anyone almost anytime, and there are exclusive invitationals controlled by EA. Theoretically, the company could invite the top ten putters that play online to compete in a tournament. It's really quite spectacular and a major, major addition to the gameplay. EA does not support online play for GameCube or Xbox, unfortunately.

Did you grab the Xbox or PS2 version? Only the PS2 has online play.

I got myself a copy just a few days ago.
It rox!
However you need to get the network adaptor to play online.
It does seem to have lots of goodies though.
And you are right Sal...I was able to get a close approximation of myself and my wife using the Gameface.
This game definately has my

Internet play is surprisingly smooth. I haven't noticed lag yet when playing someone online.

Nope. No monthly fees for PS2 Internet play, just your normal ISP fees.

Guy at work got it for PC, but has some small prob with it. Something like the map won't show up, EA says becuase his vid card isn't supported. Other then that, he loves it.

I have a question for anyone else playing this game.
Does it seem like it's WAY too easy playing in the tourneyment mode?
In the third tourney.....I finished with -50 under par. And my character is just barely into the 50-57% margins in the attributes.
I mean....it's great that i'm gonna' get my character juiced up in no time but.....come on! I'd like a little competition.
I guess the real competion will come out when I unlock Super Tiger. :P

Same thing happens to me. I think you can change the difficulty in the settings.
