Croteam updates their site every 3 months.
I figure sometime in January we will have some info on the status of the patch.

that info will be "the patch is coming along very nicely! It will be released around the same time as serious sam 2 in december"

I think Dan is right. Probably just an update. "Yea the patch works, but because we are a$$hole, and Rod is gay, we aren't going to release it yet. Maybe in another week!"
