Well it took me an hour or so to create my 6 character last night so I did not play it very much at all. I will play some tonight and let you know.

Sorry. Forgot to update. Looks like it is going to be pretty sweet. It took me at least an hour to make my 6 characters. I made 2 fighters, 1 thief, 2 wizzards, and 1 cleric. Kicking ass! LOL

I started playing it. It's pretty good, a couple of annoying things concerning fights but nothing too bad....

6 bitches! I decided to use one of the preset groups for a warm-up, and once I started playing I never got around to going back and making my dream team....I need to do that I guess...

As a matter of fact, I just got done playing for a while (haven't finished it though). If you like RPG games you'll like this one. I'm not good with wizards and the like so I don't know if they are "good" or not, but the fighters/paladins/rangers etc are pretty much what you expect. It started out with a lot of talking and searching, but after that it's been hack and slash all the way!!! I'd say it's worth it....

(Sidenote: Hammer is playing Neverwinter Nights and from the sound of it both these games have very similiar if not the exact same engines driving them. In other words, if you've played one it may not be worth it to get the other one....)

No.

If you're only going to play the single player campaign that comes with the game, stick with Icewind Dale and the Baldur's Gate games. Get NWN if you want to play online with others players in player made worlds run by player DMs.

Tomorrow I will be a glad 0wner of IWD 2!!!! I just LOVED the original IWD although it wasn't as good as Baldur's Gates. :)
