View Full Version : My Sam is officially dead

Hey guys

After I was trying to play around with the name editor, I guess I did something that I shouldn't have, because now I can't play at all.

I even tried completely removing sam and re-installing, but the same error message comes up:

"Fatal Error: Not enough memory(-103608540 bytes needed!)."

This happens when I am first starting up Sam.

Never happened before.

Unless you guys come up with a miracle I'm afraid this is the end of 9999999999999999999999999999. It's been a great ride!

have you already tried to restart your computer :unsure: ...(sometimes i´ve errors in sam, too but after a restart is everything ok!)

yeah man, sounds like a restart is necessary.
afterwards if sam still doesn't work, you can try a repair install, and that will only
replace bad files...

I've tried restarting and doing a repair..still no dice..like I said, I removed EVERYTHING from Sam and re-installed and it still doesn't work.

ok, you have deleted the croteam directory?

Install it in a new directory.

Yeah other games work fine..I'm going to try to re-install to a different directory(tip courtesy of savlation :) ).

hopefully it works then...sounds like your computer doesn´t like sam...lol :rofl:
