OK guys...this is my farewell speech. This is HAMMER.
Sorry about all of the problems that have been caused of late. It was never my intention for any of this to occur. No matter how let down or disappointed or disgraced you all feel, please take that, then double it in my case. I have to leave a site that I love and that I helped create because of problems caused outside of my control. I still walk away saying I have never done anything wrong here, but who cares?
People say "It's just a game" they say, don't let it get you upset. Really...it isn't. This is a modern world. This is how people hang out in the 21st century. I see this as hanging out with your buds. Well...apparently that's not going to work out for me anymore.
I sincerely apologize for my wife's comments, and hope you will all remember that I had no intention of letting this happen.
I will really miss being here and hanging out with you all. You know where to find me.

Gonna miss you also Hammer.....You have been a lot of help to me and others with your knowledge of Networking. You WILL be missed. Your playing skills have pushed me to be a better player. I hope that whatever problems between you and your wife can be worked out.
Marriage isn't easy, but even with my mistakes I have remained married for 23 years, so I understand where you are at right now, and I believe you are making a mature decision.....

Just so you all know, Including you Hammer if you ever see this. This is not what we wanted and we are not happy about your leaving. We would still like to work something out to where you could stay.
IMHO About your leaving, Well this really sucks and not happy about it. I understand your needing to put family concerns first and that's the right thing to do. We have butted heads on more than one occasion and contrary to what you may believe, I'm really going to miss you. Take care and I wish you all the best.

Hi Hammer, I am sure that things in time will resolve themselves and people will forgive each other.On one hand it is very sad to see you go, however on the other ,, your family must come first.I wish you all the very best for the future and hope to see you around sometime.

hammer to be honest with you you can always find a new family. so stay here!!!! tell your wife that this is your hangout and stress relief. if she does not understand that well life is too short. if you are not happy, well you can only be the one to make you happy. i take breaks from this game and get frustrated so much i want to break my screen, but all in all everyone does and for the most part there are alot of good people here and are going to miss joking with ya and having those good convos. my wife says i play that stupid game too much and i say "you wanna fool around and she says "go frag there asses".
the moral of this is... reconsider and get back to kickin ass like you used to./

unfortunately I haven't been here too long to really get to know you incredibly well but I must say I've always enjoyed reading your posts and getting my butt kicked by you in DM... good luck with whatever you're going thru man...hope to see you back here someday
