A few minutes ago I was playing a game in Lost Tomb in order to get some nice shots for Sirc's planned movie when something really strange happened to me.. something that has never happened to me before...

but see for yourself, here (http://mitglied.lycos.de/teh1337avs/Lost_Tomb.zip) is the demo (right click, save as). [might be boring the first few minutes, but make sure your POV is "durr" (=me) at 10:55 or so]

Cool.

Damn i did that before about 7 months ago, when i was noob.

But i lost my damn demo after reinstall. I still tryed to do that after i did before, without luck.

But i might know now. I did that even on Red Station and Fortress :mellow:

Well there was a bug that made me be able to move around outside the level. Just like after the Rocket Jump trick in Yodeller

I checked it out in the SeriousEditor. The Start marker is rotated alittle in this place. Thats the bug

Yeah you can get back, i remember when i back. I shooted by the wall. Damn it was cool. I will try to train this on that starting place.

oh i cant download demo i did save targer but it ended up showing it going to a site

Yeah, then at that site, click on "lost tomb", and you should get it.

By the way, that was awesome man! Maybe if you clip from just before you spawn, to about 5 seconds when you are swimming around underneath....I think that would be a cool addition to the movie!

u can pause your demos and also fast forward by .10, .50, 1sec, etc...but u need to add certain commands to your common.ini...its cool watching demos in slowww moe :thumbs:

Please explain this in more detail. What commands do you have to add?

1)Go to your Program Files&#092;Croteam&#092;Serious Sam - The Second Encounter&#092;Controls&#092;System&#092;Common.ini

2) open it with any simple editor such as notepad/wordpad/etc

3) now if the following commands are not listed then add them in and adjust them to your preference...here are some samples:

//To play demo i used "A"

Button
Name: TTRS Demo PLAY
Key1: A
Key2: None
Pressed: dem_fSyncRate=0.0;
Released:


//TO stop demo I used "S"

Button
Name: TTRS Demo PAUSE
Key1: S
Key2: None
Pressed: dem_fSyncRate=-1.0;
Released:


//to forward demo by .01sec i used &#39;Q&#39; button but u can replace it with your own choice

Button
Name: TTRS Demo FWD .01 tick
Key1: Q
Key2: None
Pressed: dem_tmTimer=dem_tmTimer+0.01;

//to forward demo by .5sec i used "W" as shown, use what u prefer

:hmmm: Does this just increment a paused demo by the set amount of time, or does it actually cause it to play in slow motion?

no the pause command stops/freezes the demo until u press the play command to resume or if u like fast forwarding it...
