Erg.. last year our speed was 1000+ on both up and down load now look at it.. :bawling:

erg i knew it... its not as difrent then it was b4... still get a good ping (any where from 100-250 on sam) but sometimes web pages take longer to load up

would it be cause more and more people are getting the same internet provider around me? cause we do live in a sorta large hood? :hmmm:

If its cable then yes cuz it eats off of everyone's connection...

hmm my upload seems to be better... and dont you use upload to play games? our dl is rocking tho unike mine =/

ehh, well the first time i got road runer i ran a 1000+ up and 800+ down load.. and i was paying 40 a mounth... i was happy with that, then we got ride of it cause of my grades...then my grades got better and i got it back now look at my speed =/ :hmmm: my ping and everyhing is realy good... just dling stuff is slower then it was so is 40 a mounth good for my speds that i got now?

I think you mostly download when you play games but upload does come into play. Posting on GM is uploading so...

i think maybe when we first had this modem the company was bran new then when they stared to comercalize EVERYONE and thier brother got it =/ and being it only cabel everyone gets on and eats my speed... damn basters >.<

nope its road runner.. same as mine just in usb i have ethernet

T3, 44.736Mbps, 672 Multiplexed channels.

dsl is similar to t1 but is upload capped, usually at 256 or 384kbps
a t1 can power a whole school for casual web browsing,
but suffers when lots of people are downloading...

(oh, the multiplexed channels means that if you had a pbx, it could support that number of different phone lines&#33;)
