And that HL2 is not nearly ready yet and that it prolly will take lots of time to be finished?

Btw it does not only hurt Valve because there&#39;s also leaked Info of the Havoc physics engine which is not invented by Valve how to you expect havoc to get money for licenses of their Physics engine when the source code can be downloaded from the net?????



And IMHO there won&#39;t be many free online playable games be around in a few years

What do u mean?
As far as i&#39;m conserned only MMO games have a monthly fee, HL2 will not be an MMO game so.....

i have a friend that has seen the source code and game. the source
code was meaningless to him though, and the game was not very
playable, so he deleted it all before i could get a look at it.

It was only a third of the source code, right? I don&#39;t know how much they can glean from it. I think they&#39;ll rewrite it enough to make the leaked segment irrelevant, if they can, and the delay seems to be real, April next year, or maybe they&#39;ll surprise us and get it out by February. Looks likely that Doom 3 will be late as well, so that takes one pressure off them a bit. Bummer, too, it looked like we&#39;d have a new game and technology out ahead of the next greatest video cards.
