My sam isn't working!

Serious Sam Second Encounter isn't working for some reason I uninstalled it like 15 times and uninstalled first encounter also and it still isn't working. Each time I uninstalled I restarted my comp and then reinstalled I then put the patch on then I entered the game I clicked on Players and Controls and then a message pops up saying SeriousSam.exe has encountered an error then it says send error report and don't send. Same thing when I enter into a server and when it is precaching the same error pops up again.


Anybody got any ideas on how to fix this problem? :WTF:

Try installing to a different directory(different than the one now).

You need to go and delete the directory not just uninstall it. If you have custom maps, skins, screenshots or demos you want to save then move them in to a temp directory then delete the entire croteam directory. Then do a clean install.

Did you uninstall it first, then delete the directory? Will it work with the cd? Are you patching it to 1.07?

another thing that keeps happening is that when I turn off my comp, I come back turn it on the same thing error pops up. :bandhead:
