My thoughts on the Campers Clan...

First of all let me point out that the screenie here is not a TRUE win because Papa Mamba came in a bit late. But that really isn't the point. I have noticed a few things about the Campers Clan:

1. They are all outstanding players

2. They seem to love The Hole. And they are very good at it.

3. They are very hard to kill. I can't figure out if this is lag (since most of them are European), or if they always have 200/200 health and armor, or...I dunno.

Now, that being said, they also have this bizarre talent for being VERY hard to find while playing. I can't figure out why that is. They seem to hide somehow, but they don't camp. Or at least they don't seem to spam while they camp. They just seem to pounce on you from somewhere unseen. :blink:

I really need to record a demo the next time I play one of them. They are not unbeatable, because I have beaten a few of them before fair and square. It seems their weakness, if they have any, is the fact that they are so careful not to get killed. So a fairly good and aggressive player can simply kill faster than them sometimes and end up with the win.

Anyway, GG! And the next time I will be sure to record a demo to see what the heck you guys are doing! :P

I find that there a few players that seem to know about trap doors leading
to other hidden rooms...sometimes there can be 8 people in a game and I
go round and round and round and never see anyone...

depends on playing style. lots of people like to hit the invis, collect
the reds, circle the top, killing everything & repeat. easy way to get
get high kills with low deaths, and people in the basement or the lower
center will never see them...
