Best Console System EVER

I picked genesis bcuz that is the system that i grew up with and that in my opinion, had the best games (like the sonic and streets of rage series')

I would say that either the NES or SNES had the greatest effect on American culture. Maybe PS2.....

The thing is that there are soo many consoles and i can only have 10 choices so i picked the ones that are the most popular (dreamcast made some revolutionary breakthroughs)

Agreed SLIK. Too many children voting. :bandhead:

NES takes all hands down. It was the NES that transformed console gaming as we know it.

Though playstation 2 and ps1 are fun... they surely are not the best consoles to date.

Voted SNES for Super Mario World, Chrono Trigger, Mario Kart, Street Fighter, F-Zero, FFVI, Link to the Past, Super Metroid, Star Fox etc. etc.
NES may have started it all, but I'm not giving points for that. The Super Nintendo has had more quality games than any other system to me, and a console is only as good as its games...

man regular nitendo well thats what i called it when i was 5. but hey i love it. sooooo many games to choose from. when my borther and sis first got it i was 3 i think. i use to play it. i played it till i was 7 and the thing died on me lol. my second fav is definetly dreamcast. i love quake 3 arena for it. that what got me into computer gameing. first persons baby woot. :jammin:

That was a system made by Magnavox to fill the space between the Atari and the Intellivision, and it had the usability of a computer...yeah.

A recipe for suck is what it was. But at the time it was pretty fun.

Damn straight SNES was my fav and I had all the above mentioned consoles. NES follows as a close 2nd.

it seems that the newer the system, the bigger and more akward the controller, PS2 by far has the best and easiest to use controller

The playstation controller was just a fancy rip off of the SNES controller even the dual shock analong was a rip off the the N64&#39;s little joystick and rumble pack. But I have to hand it to Sony they really did improve apove those peripherals. ;)
