Im thinking about getting another mobo this gigabyte board has got some issues with the ram i bought i have to put the ram in the second and third slot and skip the mem check to get windows to boot otherwise it sits in a loop allday restarting

dirtgod, there are memory timings that need to be addressed. with your specs, you should be flawless. what bios are you running? you may need to update the bios which you will use the software on the cd to do it within windows. i pretty much have the same board except have more features. chipset is exactly the same.

i do not like the nforce series of boards due to the incompatibilities with my ati card and some other reasons. i thought you were going with the via board after all my posts regarding nforce3. what changed your mind to stick with the nvidia chipset?

I bought my board before you started to post anything...besides i have issues with VIA the way i have issues with ATI and will take a lot for me to go back to them.....anyway i got it to work and i will post benchmarks as soon as i can get them downloaded..... :cool:

i hear ya about via but they seem to have fixed alot of their screw ups. i guess it stands for all these companies when they try to cut corners and screw us customers.

Nope problem still their....it work the once till i turn off machine im back to hiting escape key to skip mem test....... :bandhead:
