I just started using the Logitech mx 500 mouse and it's a 5 button mouse, but SSSE only allows me to program 2 of them :bandhead: is there a way to use all 5 or at least 3 :WTF:

It might bring me from being a bad player, to being a player that's not that good :P

Please help :bandhead:

hi pure, go >>>here<<< (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm?page=downloads/software&CRID=1792&contentid=6033&countryid=19&languageid=1) and download the latest logitech drivers and Advanced Settings Utility for MouseWare 9.76 and above(its on the same site at the left bottom)

then all buttons work fine in every game ;)

good luck, that software sucks, and it isn't programmable per application like the intellimouse stuff is.... overall i found it to be useless...

Sam recognizes all the buttons on your mouse.
I have mouse button 4 for rocket launcher, button 5 chaingun.

In my mouse software I programmed button 4 and 5 to be page up/page down functions. Then in Serious Sam when it asks you how you want to assign the rocket launcher I click button four and the Sam menu accepts that and says the rocket launcher is assigned under page up.

Weapon switching quickly is pretty important to playing Sam well.

Hi, you have 8 buttons btw.
You can use all the buttons onthe mx500. You first need to assign a keyboard button to them, like page up or delete.
After that you go to Sam and bind the functions/weapons to the right keys.
big side button = knife
mouse one = fire
mouse two = rockets
push mousewheel = shotty

ps i first downloaded he new logitech drivers and the advanced set.
