I swear....
For some reason, my HUD dissappears. I mean, it isn't a matter of changing the opacity or the size or any of that crap. The damn thing just goes away. I have to reinstall to get the damn thing back. :WTF:
Does anyone have that problem? This is making me insane! It's not like I have tweaked my install to the point of being unusable or anything.
It is freaking me out.

I like to see my score, my health, the time left in the match, and my shield level.
Call me crazy.

yeah, some games require you to see your health and stuff once this guy told me :devil:

I don't think you can blame all that on that game, now, do you?
That is indeed weird. Mine changes with the default size-up, size-down keys. Are you using a custom .ini? Maybe if you looked through there, you could see what it is.
Here is a chunk of my user.ini:
[Engine.HUD]
bHideHUD=false
HudScale=0.864638
HudCanvasScale=1.000000
bMessageBeep=true
bShowWeaponInfo=True
bShowPersonalInfo=True
bShowPoints=True
bCrosshairShow=True
CrosshairScale=1.000000
CrosshairOpacity=1.000000
CrosshairStyle=5
ConsoleMessageCount=4
ConsoleFontSize=4
MessageFontOffset=0
bShowWeaponBar=False
bShowPortrait=True
HudOpacity=255.000000
CrossHairColor=(B=255,G=255,R=255,A=255)
bNoEnemyNames=False
If "bHideHUD=false" were "bHideHUD=true" in any of the .ini files being used, it could shut it down. So, you could be fine until, say, you went to a TTM mod server, and it hit your TTM2003.ini file, and made the change there. Also, once it happens, before you scratch it and start over, look through some .inis and see what they have in that section.

Thanks DD. I did all that, but that wasn't the problem. I have since however fixed it. I won't tell you what it was though. Let's just say....I can't blame the game for my insanity.. ;)

I've got some funny 'help desk; stories like that, like a buddy who, though pretty computer savvy, and had been CD burning for quite a while, forgot which side was which, and put the shiny side up, though it was a painted-on-one-side CD, and tried like hell to burn to it, over and over! He eventually called, distraught, and it was a while before we caught it, because I assumed he had that step down!
