I just got a virus off my friends profile and now when I use virus scan the virus says cannot be cleaned and i tracked where the virus is and its not there....? Also on aol instant messenger when i check my profile it says I can't believe i found (Then the person screen name) picture.......HAHAHAHA!

Have you updated your defs? Sounds more like it is finding a file that has some spyware that may resemble a trojan. Best way to find it is write down the so called virus name then get in to your task manager and see what programs are running as a process. Match up the file name to the process then click on it and end the process. Then you should have no problem deleting it.

I found where one of the virus files r and when I right click and hit delete it give me a message saying "Cannot Delete Because Another User Is Currently Using This File" and supposively it says its a .dat file........

Well if u guys have ne info i will appreciate it!

If the virus scanner is finding the virus, it sure as heck should be able to remove it.
Look into your options and make sure you have them set to remove, delete, or whatever. Make sure that you update your defs too.

You can get Adaware at - http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/

Look for the "Freeware" link

(it is amazing how much stuff it will find)
