Ok im starting this thread for people to ask question they need to know..

Heres mine.. this my be stupid but i wanna know...

1. How do you get your latency to be in the right hand corner while playing? (ping i mean) and whats with the green bar in the right hand corner also?

2. How do you take screenshots? And where are they saved to??

screen shots are taken by pressing f11

they are stored in the ss directory in a folder called screenshots

OP drop down your console(F1) and type in these commands starting with the / and hit enter after each.
ping is - /hud_bShowLatency=1
netgraph is - /hud_bShowNetGraph=1
fps is - /hud_iStats=1

Bingo . . . .

Use the /hud_bShowLatency so that you can look at it on the lower right side of the corner. It will not distract you and it will have you see it while playing ok.

It will stay until you type in the same command but replace the 1 with a 0 to turn it off.
Here is another way to do it by assigning it a key. This is our member TIP's website and it written for SS FE, But works for SS SE as well.

thaqnks, but when i turn off my computer and reboot for some odd reason it isn't there and i have to waste my opening game typing it in again.

if i type it in at the main menu it doesn't work... :?

in the options menu
go to controls and scroll down.
you can set it to whatever you want.

they are stored in the ut folder with everthing else.
you gotta look for them.

u can define the key for screenies to whatever u want but default is F9

and UT stores the screenies in the UT/systems Folder as *.bmp files

or you can just use the prt scr button, and then open paint and paste it in there, but you have to switch from the game to your desktop to do it. I do that on SS, by the time the server loads the next map, and some people join, I already have it cropped and ready for a screenie posting.

This could take a while. Its not easy to admit that you are cornflakes challenged.

I knew I hit bottom when I shot a stream of milk into a stack of newly washed dishes that were drying near by. And I...I....didn't rinse them off. If someone saw me rinsing them then I'd have to admit to what happened. So I let the milk just dry on the dishes. :shock: :cry:

Sometimes it takes a really tramatic event like that to finally admit you have a problem.

I think there are more cornflake challenged people out there then anyone realizes. This is a serious issue. It is "The Silent Epidemic".

And the paper towel companies are making a fortune off it it. I wouldn't be suprised if they are giving kick backs to the cornflake manufacturers. Those damn opportunistic vultures.

Sirc, technology has the answer! They now make those cool shirts by Dockers that is liquid resistant. So pour away, your shirt is safe no matter how many bowls you eat.

Unfortunately that raises another question....if they are liquid resistant how do you wash them???

The reason for that is because if an employee is by his/her self and needs to pee they must lock the door.
