View Full Version : UTed keeps Crashing

Everytime when i try to add weapon pickups the editor crashes with a critical errotr and wont start again :( :( :( :(


i am using Win98 but i think if i cant get rid of the problem ill buy WinXP

oh and btw i used the patched game and they say that the editor should work with 98 after patching

damn that really sux

weapon pickups? whoa your way ahead of me .. Im still learning how to make a friggin box .. hehe :lol:

i solved the problem i just have to restart my comp after the editor crashes and then it works again for some time and then it crashes again

it sux but i slowly move on and if u follow the tutorial i posted its not really hard to learn :)

i patched the game and they say u should not apply the editor patch after applying the normal patch cause it fixes the bugs and make the editor running under Win98

How much memory do you have? World editors can use a lot.

That should be plenty. It may just still be buggy. There will no doubt be more patches coming.

whoa .. I can now create two rooms and connect them . .took a looooooooooong time though .. now I just have to remember what to do .. hehe

do u connect them just with a door or with a static mesh corridor like they did at the tutorial?

like they did in the tutorial .. but I am still learning . .Im trying to learn how to put in terrain ..
