View Full Version : Strange Weekend

This had to be the most bizarre weekend I have experienced since starting this game. Relics were being passed around like gifts at a white elephant party and this afternoon Jandar, DE, and myself attended a memorial service that was attended by members of all three realms. A cease fire was issued for the event.

That was the coolest thing I have ever seen online. The way every one handed themselves was very respectful indeed

There were a few aoe spells cast. Kinda mad me sad. I'll miss Mylandra. She was a young 23 years old and had a great sense of humor. :*(

That's very sad to hear. Very sweet memorial service.

BTW, has anyone heard from Henry TheRed lately? His cancer came back, and I haven't seen him on lately. :bawling:

ummm, what do you guys mean by memorial services?
you mean that people actually died?
or their characters retired?

A person actually died.
My respects.

*So somebody in real life died and then a group of players gathered around somewhere in the game to mourn them? That seems very nice.

ok, so what happened? how did she die, and how did the rest find out
about it??

Her in-game name was Mylandra. Her liver was failing and she needed a new one. From what I understand, her liver failed and she passed away on Sat. night.

Similar services were held when folks were lost in the 9/11 catastrophe. Quite touching.

That was a very nice thing to do in remembrance of her. Sorry I didn't get to know her. :(

That's so sad :( What a nice thing to do.

And to Merkwannabe. Those aren't just players getting together. The players in red are our rival realms and for us to come together with them without bloodshead is quite a statement and very meaningful gesture.

......I've never seen this before

Very sad. I am glad that everyone was able to come together and pay respect....
