Buying a router...

Can someone guide me for top routers and tips. I am completly new with this and I want to be sure i am buying a good one.

I have a linksys BEFW11S4...it is only 802.11b, but it works fantastic for what I need. Someone can use my laptop anywhere in the pad to surf while I am slugging it out in game and I see no lag, or interuptions in service.

DLink and Linksys make good routers. I have a BEFSR41 wired from last christmas and it's still going strong. I also got a DI-614+ DLink which I converted to an access point for my laptop's wireless. I basically uplinked the DLink from the Linksys (uplink port) and turned off DHCP so its an access point with 3 wired ports available. My hot rigged network ;)
