"I got the Zalman's a month or so ago...nothing comes close...nothing (unless you can afford the $500 Sony's that have true built in DTS/Dobly Digital 5.1 decoders). The separation of the channels is what makes them unbelievable. Some maps they're more effective than others, depending on the level of ambient sound, but say, in Training, I can hear someone go up red's spawn building inside stairs when in green spawn. It's weird and confusing sometimes, because they allow you to hear so much, especially when there's a lot of peeps still alive, but definitely better than the alternative. I seriously use my hbs about half what i used to b/c of them. A bargain for 50 bones. You MUST have a good 5.1 soundcard, or they're worthless."

"These are probably some of the best headphones I have ever used, especially in gaming scenerios where hearing which way your opponent is coming from can mean the difference between getting a frag or getting fragged. I am an avid LAN Party attendee and I have been known to host one here and there... so I know how important 3 dimensional sound is when playing games - especially first person shooters like Unreal Tournament 2003 or Battlefield 1942. I honestly didn't expect much when I first started testing the Zalman ZM-RS6F headphones, but the longer I used them, the more I realized what a difference they made in my game, and watching DVD moveis as well! So I returned them.
