Does anyone else find this confusing? They expect to hit a target a couple 100km away, with a ground based weapon that shoots beams of light which travel in straight lines? Are they going to have get a big ass crane to lift the thing so they can get line of sight to Taiwan?

Well they were just stating that it can be used distances that far away. I think they intend to get much closer for deployment. ;)
