Anyone had this before?

I'm playing sam, running along and go to take a look behind me when, nothing
I just keep looking forward? Or in the middle of a shotty
battle, not only can I not turn around but I can't shoot either.

I at first put it down to a bad spate of lag but it kept happening with more
regularity. I finally figured it out and it's my damn mouse. :w00t:

This is the 4th mouse I've been through this year! Do you think I'm taking
the whole Sam thing too seriously? :rolf1:

my mouse tends to do random 360s and spins my crosshair and my screen in circles. it only seems to happen when i'm in the middle of a battle too. 3rd mouse i've had and they all do this after a few months. i don't get it either :WTF:

I have a wireless optical mouse with 5 buttons. It has a base station which I plug in via usb, through radio waves it's in contact with the mouse wich is powered by batteries. Every day after use I put the mouse in the base station and connect the base station with an adapter to the electricity net. In this way the batteries are charged over night.

hey dh, if your mouse is flaking out, it is probable because the insulation has worn off the mouse where the cord goes in the mouse. you can take it apart, cut off the bad part, and try to make it work, bu you probably want to look at the way you are using the mouse and where the cord goes. if it has to bend a lot, that is bad, and you probably want a wireless...

It's called mouse spiking, get a better mouse. Microsoft mice don't spike. Most cheap Logitechs spike.
