when i use a crosshair, i try to aim, and by the time im aimed on them, theyve either moved or killed me, so its a waste of time, just shoot in the general direction ;)

ummm, your skillz are not quite there yet. not to knock on the guys that don&#39;t use
crosshairs, like fs, who is a great one, but when your game play is down pat,
you can aim in the time it takes to reload, and dead on with the crosshair
is what makes the dbsg lethal. of course if you have difficulty in aiming, then it
doesn&#39;t apply. your mouse speed also has to be in sync. a good way to practice
is to start a server, hole, and just go and shoot the lights near the sd, run, jump,
spin & shoot. your mouse should allow you to aim at the next target in time
of the reload, if you are passing it, then you may need to turn your sensitivity down.

times I have pistol killed people....

Not true, i have een able to aim with the pistol and the chaingun quite well.
The crosshair is useless, because you are never truly aiming directly at an enemy, unless both of u are standing still. ;)

pistol kills are the reason of using a crosshair
