Hey where can i check the speed of my COMPUTER i always wanted to know how fast it is can some one send me a link or site.

Check out pcpitstop. They have some good tools there, it might take a while, but loads of info on your puter!

You can also download 3DMark2001SE, a benchmarking program here: Link (http://madonion.com/)

You run a benchmark and then can check out other people scores with the same PC specs and compare them to yours. There are a bunch of things you can do to tweak your score, but don't worry about the top scores. Most of the top scores are from people overclocking the hell out of their pc's. The benchmarking program is pretty cool to watch at least the first 10 times as you adjust settings. Most of the people turn everything off in the taskbar and defrag right before benching.

isn't that for video cards?? Not sure, only ran it once ages ago. I know PCPitStop tests a lot of stuff, and I think it might tell you your actual Mhz of your proc.

I has a lot to do with your video card, but also what processor you are running and speed/amount of ram. It also gives you a feeling for how well your pc is running compared to others with the same specs. With tweaking I got scores thousands higher than before, so my system must be performing better.

I also have used pcpitsop, to find problems I never knew I had. It does give a quick glimpse of what you have and some things you can fix quite easily.

If you are wanting to know your processor speed then download cpuID from

here. (http://www.h-oda.com/)

Click on Downloads on the left side then select wcpu310.exe.

This is what it shows.

I don't think so. I think it is just saying that I'm using WinXP in the screenie.
