It's 15 degrees here :bandhead: I just came in from feeding my horses (about 15 mins) and my fingers are beet red and they hurt cuz they're so cold :( All the water buckets were frozen solid and that makes for a miserable Sepra. I cant wait for spring :(

Try dealing with water for the chickens in 2 degree weather, talk about hurting red hands. Took me half a day to recover.

You know, when I was scrapping ice from my windshield out in the driveway the other day, I thought I heard the familiar sound of "a couple of things" hit the ground! :bandhead: :bandhead:

That's prime 4 wheeling weather for me. As long as the wind isn't like 30-40 mph. Think the last time I was out, was about 5 degrees, and 10-20mph wind and snowing hard. It was a blast!! Just need a different helmet, not a bmx racing style one, or put a face on to cover my face up. Maybe growing my goatee back could help a little :hmmm:

When in doubt, hehe this is funny IMO, you use a wet suit in the summer for water sports, skiing and such, but I have actually used it in the winter, snowmobiling and 4 wheeling and OMG, talk about roasting! Put a t shirt n shorts on, wet suit, sweats, a coat and snow pants, 2 pairs of gloves, a hat and a helmet and ya are set to ride for hours! :wootrock:

Ive never been under below zero weather before, but that was till a few days ago. Man -15 here in Colorado! Turns out to go up to like 60 the next day :)

It was like that for me when I used to live in Nebraska. One day it would be like -10, and the next it is about 50. Crazy, accept in the summer it's a good solid low 100's most of the time. With a nice breeze of 60mph wind.

I disagree, on Monday and Tuesday it was sub-zero here, and I'll take 100+ anyday to that! Stuff bites you when you walk out, and let's you know where you've left skin exposed in a hurry. In the hot, hot days, I still get out and do things in the yard and around the house.

it only got to -10 here for a few days, and it snowed like a 2 feet and then melted in a day... walking to college in 5 inches of pure watery slush and ice from freezing rain is horrible! i can;t begin to imagine how it must be in Quebec... but i do agree with ya, i'd rather it be cold than too warm, at least it's easier to sleep, in the summer y ajust sit there sweatign all night
