Help please

Hey everone, I really dont know what to do and I've never tryed this before but I want to start playing online but i dont know where to go or what to flick on. If u could help me me or give me any advice that would be most helpful, thanx!!! :WTF:

go to "NETWORK" or "MULTIPLAYER" then "JOIN GAME" then "SEARCH INTERNET"...when list appeares look for server to join and player slots. like 8/32 will be 8 players in game, 24 slots free to join anyone. You will be 9th.
Then you need to look for ping or latency. Less Ping means less lag. And less lag helps you play better without crashes.

BTW you can browse servers with ASE (All Seeing Eye), you can find it at wwww.gamemecca.net downloads section. Use this programm to easy join games on internet

ok thanks i have sam gold and i was wondering if i can play serious sam the second encounter onliine because the only onliine frag game i have is desert temple???? im so comfused

you can download maps, but i firgot where. i think at www.campersclan.de or GM main page (gamemecca.net)

If I were you, I&#39;d play for a while off-line on one of the maps and get used to the controls and the weapons..

I think they are on croteams web page. Follow some links from there. You should find a link called seriouszone. Just click on that and it will give you loads of mods and levels for sam. Any probs post back. :thumbs:

The gold package comes with 2 cds. you have to install both.
ssam first editon has the desert temple map.
ss:se has the others. That is what you need to install.

ok i installed it and everything but when i go to NETWORK JOIN GAME SEARCH INTERNET and go to a 1.07 version deathmatck level it just continually goes waiting for server from 10 to 100 then back to 0 :WTF: i dont know what to do any suggestions

Yo have to have the 1.07 patch but I thought the Gold edition had that already :WTF:

I believe Die Hard is right....you will need to download and install the 1.07 patch
Have you tried to enter any 1.05 servers? If you can then you definately would need the patch. Of course you won&#39;t be able to join the 1.05&#39;s after that unless you keep two seperate serious sam directories like some of us do.

Turn off the in game music too. You can hear where others are by the sounds they make...picking up ammo, jumping, shooting etc.
