Anybody use SETI@home?

Useless program that's kinda cool to watch and has a great background. Download for free from www.setiathome.com It just runs in the background. Read more on the site. At the moment, I've managed to run it for 644 hours. :thumbs:

what that prog doing?

it goes through a block of info collected from a radio telescope looking for any alien signals.Then, when it&#39;s done, it sends it in, you get yur hous increased and a new block of data. Yes, ET and green aliens with big eyes, but it&#39;s kinda neat.

You are sent a recording of a session. Your PC then decodes this
recording and sends it back to SETI. If they find an alien signal in
your decoded session then you have found the alien :w00t:
