Aside from the fact that Epson, which has a background in LCD business projectors, is entering the consumer TV arena, the big story here is the sets' bundled extras, which make these models the epitome of convergence. Since Epson gave the media a sneak peek late last year, its new rear-projection LCD HDTVs, dubbed Livingstations, weren't exactly a secret. But the company has officially introduced its 47- and 57-inch models at the show, both of which feature a built-in photo printer, a media reader, and a CD-R drive.

Viewers can now not only burn or view images directly to or from a CD-R, they can also use the TV's built-in printer to churn out 4x6 hard copies of their shots. Plus, they'll be able to access photos from the media of their choice, thanks to plenty of onboard slots for SmartMedia, SD/MMC, CompactFlash, and Memory Stick cards.
